GameProCafé – March: Procedural Content Generation for Level Building

March 5 @ 18:00 - 22:00 CET

Free

Improving Efficiency: Using Procedural Content Generation (PCG) as an Everyday Tool for Level Building.

Want your team to get their jobs done more effectively? Integrate PCG into your level-building workflow.

Procedural generation isn’t just for generating massive Minecraft-style worlds. It can be a practical, daily tool for level creation and set dressing by taking the grind out of repetitive tasks.

Join Tim Verberne, Tools Programmer at Vertigo Games, as he shares practical examples of PCG using Unreal Engine’s PCG Framework. He will delve into achieving a balance between speed and creative control when working with PCG, and highlight how non-destructive workflows and determinism can speed up iteration.

Join us and expand your knowledge on procedural generation!
