Create a profile. Your email address is your unique identifier. We use it to send bill, updates and keep track of your process.

Confirm your email

You’ll receive an email to confirm your email and a link to the application form.

Complete the application form before the deadline. Make sure you use the same email address for the submission

Day of the application deadline

Curation starts

Curation starts after the application deadline. If you applied after the deadline, you might get a spot, but won’t be part of the mailings and socials.

Within two weeks

Answer from curation committee

If your game makes it through curation you receive an invitation to buy a showcasing ticket.

Within 7 days

Buy your showcasing ticket

Use your registration email to secure your ticket within 7 days. After that, your showcase spot will be given to someone else.

Get 1 showcasing ticket per game. You can bring 4 team members

Day of the event

The program

18:00 build up.
19:00 starts the VIP hour.
20:00 starts the event.
23:00 you can clean up your spot.
0:00 End of show.

Submit your game by January 5 to be part of our first curation round.

Didn’t make the January deadline? No worries!
We’re reviewing new submissions on a rolling basis, so it’s definitely still worth signing up if you're interested. The earlier you submit, the better your chances. We usually have a few cancellations, and once those spots are filled, we’ll start a waitlist. If space opens up, we’ll reach out!

Please note: We may not accept every submission, especially if we already have many similar games in genre, style, or region. Final selection is at our discretion.

💡 Why showcase at Courage?

We bring game professionals together: over a drink, over a demo build, over a shared love for games. Courage keeps it casual. Think more ‘chill bar energy’ and less ‘hectic expo chaos’ 🍹

We’ve been doing this for years, and have grown t o be one of the biggest meetups of GDC week, where 1000–2000 game professionals gather to mingle, play and party. And we’re putting you right in the middle of it!

Showcasing your demo? That takes courage 💪
So we keep it simple and developer-friendly:

No loud music so you can actually talk about your game 🙉
Informal setup: just you, your laptop, and maybe a controller or two 🎮
Playtesting or pitch testing in a relaxed atmosphere
VIP hour before the crowd arrives: meet publishers, investors, and press in a low-key setting 💬✨

We had a wonderful time showcasing our game at Courage XL in 2025. As a new studio it was a great opportunity to showcase our game and meet people travelling from all over the world. The organizers really looked after us, we made some great connections and had an absolute blast! We highly recommend others to get involved at future events. 💸 Showcase spot costs

We’d love to make showcasing completely free, but as you can imagine there are some costs involved; things like venue rental, marketing, drink tokens and, well, time from us to make it all happen.

Thanks to our amazing sponsors we cover most of it. But to keep things running smoothly we ask for a fee of €200 per developer.

It helps us cover the basics and keeps the event fair and committed for everyone involved.
